To provide an opportunity to share and reflect on learning as part of our Continuous Professional Development,
To offer peer support and guidance, to better ourselves and our colleagues.
To maintain and increase enthusiasm for learning and working in General Practice (especially in the current climate!)
To offer a safe, light-hearted supportive atmosphere where “silly questions” will be welcome! (There are no silly questions).
The Pennine GP Learning Group was founded in April 2016 for the purpose of providing support for fellow colleagues, as well as developing your own skills through sharing knowledge between the group. We hold regular, face-to-face meetings focusing on a subject that one or many of the GPs in the group may not be confident in, to increase the level of confidence and knowledge of the entire group. We are based in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
Topics that have been discussed as well as the minutes of each meeting shall be uploaded on to this website for others to benefit. You can read more about us here.
You can download our Reflective Learning Log Template if you wish to use anything you learn in your appraisal.
