This meeting took place on 8th June 2016, regarding how cow’s milk protein allergy presents in children.
There was a brief discussion on the importance of good record keeping.
Dr Hussain presented the topic “Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy in Children” based on the NICE CKS summary of the topic. We covered the different types of CMPA – IgE mediated and non-IgE mediated and how we could differentiate the two types. We also discussed practicalities of the consultation and learnt about resources which we could direct parents of children who have CMPA to.
